which converter?

I have a low modded car and i was thinkin about doing a bigger turbo, maybe a te-44, and a 3'' dp, but then i would need a converter. What kind and stahl converter would be good for my possible combo? thanks in advance, Chris

The stock converter will work with a TE-44.

Most guys just run the stock converter for that combo.Stick to the .63 A/R exhaust housing.

I heard that there would be alot of turbo lag off the line with a stock converter. Is that true?

Alot of folks are running the stock converter with little or no lag. If you are set on getting a converter, get a 2800 to 3000 stall and you will be golden with a 44.
