I want to put a electric on my 84, is there a preference in which fans work best as far as fit and performance or just order a universal from Summit or Jegs. thanks Tim

I just installed the Ramchargers dual fans. I doubt theres anything that will be close for the price. You need the bigger 86-87/V8 radiator though.

i have a v8 radiator with flexalite dual 12 inch fans just got them didnt put them in but i have heard its great

My dad and I both used dual fans from a late model (90 and up) car that has a 350 in it. Mine came from a 92 impala and paid 35$ for it. We rotated the fans over so the electrical connections would be in the right place and you have to cut a small notch in the shroud so it would fit flush with the rad. Looks great.......good luck

If you want to try the boneyard, a fan from a fiero fits nicely and is similarly sized to the 86/87 fan. I got mine for $20.

Mine is running three fans

I had a puller fan alread on the car, but now that I added the powerstroke I/C I went ahead and piced up a pair of 12" pusher fans to mount out front. Should keep the I/C nice and cool. And Autozone has adjustable thermostatic control units for $14-$18 depending on which one you get. They have a prove that slides into the fins and come with relays, wiring harness, the whole works.
