Looking at Afco double adjustables, 3870R-1 (7 inch travel) at first appears to be the right choice but compressed length is longer than a stock replacement shock. There is also a 3850R-1 (5 inch travel) that has pretty comparable compressed length to a stock shock but of course the extended length is shorter. These would be for a stock ride height car. Which would be the better option?
