Which side is R or L per GM?

God this always screws me up!

What side of the car for body parts etc is right and left?

Driver side is considered....

Passenger side is considered.....


Please fill in the blank for me.

Just like your sitting in the car: Driver's side, left
Pass. side, right

Yep, gn1220 is right. It's tricky when you're under the hood, usually facing the rear of the car, to think about things as left or right, it screws me up too. Just think about it as driver or passenger (or port and starboard for us boat nerds).

Awesome! Thanks guys! Trying to put my bumpers back together and I am looking at the bumperettes that look identical, but have a L and R on them and I am like.... which side is which?

The help is greatly appreciated!
