Whine coming from rear end

Rear end is bone stock with posi. I have a whine coming from the rear while crusing. Fluid was changed but that did not help. Do you guys think it is the pinion bearing? Thanks for your help.

Did you put in the GM limited slip posi additive in the little blue bottle?$7-8 at any GM dealer.That can usually quiet a rear end down if there isnt any other problems with the rearend.

Yes I put one bottle of the posi additive. Thanks for the input.

Time to have the pinion and carrier bearings checked.

Mine was both. Carrier bearings first, then the pinion. Hate to say it, but I doubt a fluid change will do much.
