Whining T200-4R

Yet another transmission problem. Transmission whines when in park, not so noticeable in other gears, until WOT. Then it's a pretty loud whine. Everything seems to work OK. Any thoughts as to what this could be?

I don't remember the exact circumstances that mine did it, but the whine coming from my tranny was my torque converter.

Actually a bad torque convertor (if it doesn't take out the trans) would be good--it's under warranty still!

For anybody who might have had this same type of problem (whining transmission under WOT and when placed in park), turned out to be from non-use. Over the winter here in Missouri I haven't driven it much. I had the trans shop service the trans (new fluid--mobil 1 synthetic ATF--and new filter) and all the noises all went away. Cheap solution.
