who can fix emc

87 gn the problem is when i turn on the key the fuel pump won't shut off after a couple seconds. it was traced to the emc it must have a switch that's not working. can anyone fix it or should i buy a rebuilt emc

I have a good ECM (electronic control module) out of my car ill sell you, no need for an expensive $180 stock reman.

check the fuel pump relay there are different kinds.mine has a regular relay in place of a fuel pump relay (quick fix when the fuel pump relay went bad) it runs all the time.Key on engine not started.have not got around to replacing with correct one.

If it's a stock ecm just replace it as others have suggested. If it has been modified for low impedance injectors or a speed density chip like the ME-R so it would cost a lot to duplicate, I can probably fix it for you if Bob Bailey or Red Armstrong don't want to fool with it.
