Just got back from a root canal and it was fun! 4 needles of novacaine and was in the chair for like two hours. Had to drill thru a crown, most painful part was having to pay the part my insurance didn't cover. Bad news is the molar behind it is screwed up because of the wisdom tooth I had removed back in October. Since the wisdom tooth was up against it all those years it was decayed bad enough to where I need some surgery on it supposedly. Looking at about 3K to do it. The vise grips in the garage are looking pretty good to me.

I had let my teeth go for a long time and finally went to my dentist. He had a lot of work to do, but we finally got through it and I have a decent set of teeth now. I go regularly for cleaning, etc.
It really wasn't all that bad. It's just a state of mind, I think, of not knowing what they are going to do. Take my word, it was not bad at all. I had several root canals, fillings, etc.
Besides, my dentist has a GNX with only 1500 miles on it. I'll never forget, he brought it over to my house one time and let my son and I detail it for him for the Autorama in Houston. It was so neat, sitting in it with the new-car smell. We talk cars every time I go in. :D

I look forware to going to my dentist because the chicks there are hot. Especially the one that cleans my teeth. Her leaning over me makes the time go by quickly. I think they need to give me something to keep from getting too excited, like anti-viagra.

If go to dentist twice a year for clean up and check up and you never have to worry about it.. thats what i do and i love my visits to the dentist because they always give you good news, not to mention his daughter who is at the front desk is such a freaking hottie.. :)

Who'da thunk that dental facilities would be repositories for hot chicks?

But one thing I don't understand is why would hot chicks want a career cleaning other peoples' teeth? After all, they should realize that not every patient that comes in is a stud like me with perfect teeth and a mouth so clean that they could bathe in it.

I used to fear the dentist when I had bad oral health. Thousands of dollars later (from about 10 yrs ago) and now I practice and maintain great oral health. Now, trips to the dentist are nice and enjoyable for routine cleanings. If you take care of your teeth, it will make things so much easier health wise and money wise! Brush and floss daily! You only get one set of permanent teeth. JMHO. and no, I'm not a dentist or hygenist.
