Who here has AeroChamber muffler on their car

Just trying to see how you like them,or should I just get the SS Ultr Flo mufflers ,,looking for quiet with good flo and less drone/

I have the Hooker cat back and it came with the Areo chamber's. They are louder than stock, but I wish they were louder myself. I think they drone a little more than stock, but I like the drone too.

I would like to fine some Buicks in my area that have other exhausts like ATR or Ultra Flo's, so I could hear them. Ran an open dump once, sounds great at idle but crap at wot. I'm always at wot.

I had ultra flows. I like the aeros better. They are quiet with little drone.

They sound pretty good. A little bit of drone, but not too bad.
Been on the car a long time and they are made very well.

I have the Hooker with Aerochambers on both my cars, so put me down for a yes vote on those . Just as stated, bit louder than stock, but not too loud, slight drone yet sounds good. Not too bad of an install if you have access to a lift and a friend to help hold the system up while you tighten clamps, etc. Also comes with that hollow cat, aka test pipe

I've got them and I'm happy with them, can't beat the price on the Hooker system, they seem to flow well and sound is not a problem.

I switched over to aero chambers from regular turbo mufflers .I love the way the aero's sound at idle and part throttle , slight drone but not to bad.

Where did everyone buy the Hooker cat back with the AeroChambers,,I remember a 1.5 yrs ago I ordered the Hooker systemand it came with the cheapo turbo mufflers,,is it standard for the hooker to come with the Aerochambers if ordered from Jegs...

Mine came with the system, seems as though they changed and went with the aerochamber, they knew the turbo muffler was a design masterpiece and didn't want to share it with us any longer.

There are a couple of things I did notice about the system though.

First, it seems as though there is a little problem with the system making contact with the floor pan just after the "Y"... I just changed my body bushings and am hopefull that this will cure several problems.

Second, I'm seeing with mine that I'm getting contact with the drive shaft on full or near full shock extension.

It's a little late to make any changes for me unless I cut the system. I decided to weld mine when I installed it

Aero...

When I purchased my Hooker system it came with the El Cheapo Mufflers. The very next system I got for a customers car came with the Aero mufflers. They do have a drone but other wise seem to work very well. I normaly use Super Turbo or the Ultra Flow's but have not had them on this system as of yet.
