Well, Guys if you mean dogging them and racing them to death, and girls when it comes to lack of maintainance IMO

I mean general daily driving..

I would have to say women are worse.

I seen one driving SUGV (SUKING UNIVERSE GAS VEHICLE) at work.
She enters & leaves like a nascar driver nearly killing me.

Her gas flap open, shopping cart scratches, bumper dents, filthy body, front wheels loaded with brake dust.

I am sure the only thing that gets attention is GAS get put in.

Soccer Moms!!!

I always put my money on soccer moms when it comes to mini van and SUV stop light action.

Thats true, We beat on them but know how to take care of them.

Not to mention work on them when they break. The only time I find out when something is broken on her DD is when I drive it. Me: How long has the brake light been on?(pedal went to the floor, backing out the drive) Her: Oh I dont know. Does it have something to do with why it doesn't stop?

We live out on the highway. My short driveway leads right out into the road. I usually back the car in since my other half has a problem with that. Not to mention she blocks my half of the garage so I have to move it anyway. She'll pull out adjacent to the road and when the coast is clear, gun the gas like she's launching off the Ronald Reagan to merge into the traffic. Her take off is a section of the right of way in front of the house. Before she moved in there was grass growing there. She reduced it to desert in no time from the tires chewing it out from them spinning. So a month ago I get on the horn and ask the FDOT what they want to do. They came out and laid down a fresh patch of sod to cover up the bare earth. So I tell her "dont chew up my new grass anymore!" A couple of weeks later and there are at least a half of a dozen "scratch" marks there. I cant help but think of the abuse that poor car is going through. It has to be worst than my GN leaving the line under full boost.

i think women are harder on cars... Every car my moms gets there seems to be a problem w the brakes.. Always wearing fast.. She thinks her choice in cars, I think its how much lead is in her foot.. Last year i was walking out of the apt and I hear this loud car buzzing up the block.. I said to my self wh the fvck was that??? Sure enough I walk out side and she her Lil Dodge Shadow buzzing by.....

Women/girls hands down!!!! Tires, brakes, and speeding tickets are my wifes specialties. Made the mistake of asking her to run it through the car wash on occasion. If I wasn't concerned about her having a dependable vehicle, she'd be driving a junker instead of an '07.

Sorry - another female response

Almost even. I see both; women coming in because they kept driving when the needle is pegged on HOT or a guy stuck in second and says he has an engine problem. Besides this forum, there are many men who do not know about cars and maintenance. I may see more women with problems that could have been avoided but I do see a lot of men trying to fix their cars and make matters worse. It all depends which side of the fence you are on. The shop fixing them or the owner. As a shop owner; I like them both! I do have more women coming in for preventative maintenance but in general men know more about cars. Nice question - I was surprised with the poll.

What about women that hit Snow plows with their trucks & take out mail boxes with Trans ams? ;) :p

I had a bad night. It happends. Still has nothing to do with maintenance. However I could have bought a couple of motors for what that cost me.

Thanks Brian. I love you too.

That Trans Am is really tough with mailboxes and ditches. It was the Tahoe with the plow.

I see we both have a way with the police and a "couple" of beers.
