Who is Terry Houston??

apologies in advance, this may be a stupid question...

Who *IS* Terry Houston?? I've read about the Terry Houston downpipe for Turbo Buicks and TTA's for years now and I just recently bought one (finally).

As I was examining the downpipe I started wondering, who is Terry Houston and why doesn't he make any other turbo Buick parts?? He manufactures one of the best (maybe *THE* best) internal wastegate downpipes for our cars, but I've never been able to find his website, or company info or any information about what else he manufactures.

Anyone have any information on Terry Houston? Just curious.

And for what it's worth, the 3" stainless THDP I purchased was unbelieveable! It fit *PERFECTLY* with absolutely no hassels! Once I had the old downpipe off, I just snaked the TH downpipe down from the top and it just slid right down in there!! Then I slipped the testpipe on the end of the down pipe, tightened up the four bolts on the turbo and the four bolts on the testpipe flange and VOI-LA!! DONE!

as for a conviction, that's the first I've heard of anything like that. I didn't mean to open a can of worms here, just honest curiousity.

BUT lets stick to who Terry Houston is/was before his conviction.

Just for the record at7we2 (Rob), Terry Houston " Actually plead guilty,admitted what he did was wrong" and is in a prison serving his time , if any of the members here would like to tell that part of the story to at7we2 or anyone else please do so by pm or email ...not here.

I'd still like to know about the company - Buick related history, past and present product lines, etc.

I was curious because their downpipes are such good pieces but it seemed like they came from some enigmatic source that nobody knew anything about. Now I think I know why.

THDPs are nice fitting DPs, he also sold headers and catbacks as well. Stainless Works headers has them on their websight and i believe they made them for terry houston.

Sorry to be the fly in the ointment so to speak, but quality peice or not, if he molested a child, I don't care if he admitted it or not, he would NEVER get a dime of my money. And I have spent a lot of money in the TB community. I'd rather wait on a Mease pipe.

As far as i know the ''child'' was a teenage girl...........have you seen some of them.......some 15 year olds easily look 18-20.

Hardly the point. I'm not gonna debate this as I have no first hand knowledge of this particular incident. I stated my opinion and I stand by that.

Yeah some would bring the issue up, and it sure didn't take long did it? You managed to do it in the second post in this thread.

It's pretty funny how so many people these days like to point the dirty end of the stick at others while the skeletons in their own closets are collecting dust.

Maybe some of you all that are holier than thou should take a few minutes to think about some of the things you've done in the past that you may not be so proud of. Then again, maybe it's easy to hide your sins since maybe you didn't get caught and have your indiscretions made a matter of public record.

Trust me, if you can't think of several examples where you stepped over the line (as I have) then YOU have a problem and are the one with no conscience. Have a nice night.

Nope, it didn't take long. Why? Because I was a teacher before I was a cop. I've seen both sides of the fence, the 16 year old girls that are really good looking and flirt with older guys, and then I've seen the 16 year old girl that has been abused and looks towards older folks for comfort, even when they feel that they only way to get it is through sex.

Have we all stepped over the line? Sure, with certain things. Have we all violated someone? Nope. I'm certainly not "holier than thou", but I'm also not a criminal. The question was "Who is Terry Houston?" not "Why doesn't Terry Houston make more GN parts?".
