Threads like these are helpful to new TR owners, ready & eager to begin their mods. But, no one should rely on any one list alone.
Unless the NEWBIES use the SEARCH feature and/or actually come & post "Is so-and-so OK?", they are as ripe to be plucked as the NEWBIES have always been. No need to be plucked, if you exercise due caution. If you do not know anyone personally, ask.

Lots of businesses on/off the Internet rely on new sheep "wandering in", more than repeat business from former customers...that's the only reason they are still in business.
If you don't know a vendor or individual, please do post with Qs. No need for posting a negative reply, just e-mail or PM a response, if preferable.

There are enough truly reputable vendors and genuinely decent people for any conceivable need that no one need deal with a sleazoid, accidentally helping them to remain in business. So please ask, any time.
