I got this pipe from turbonut85. It looks stock but is bigger diameter and mandrel bent. Also the pipe spread is a little wider at the back. The muffler for this system was a stock location crossflow muffler. It's not stainless, and it's pretty old. Turbonuts still has the rest of it, a couple rust holes in the tailpipes. It's sitting on top of an original pipe in the pics.

Asking more out of curiosity than anything else.

That's gotta be an exhaust shop job, maybe a walker replacement. I don't see any aftermarket company making something like that, probably doesn't flow any better than the stock piece

I doubt it'd be mandrel bent if it was built for stock replacement. Also it wouldn't be 2.5"...

who in their right mind would split the exhaust like that? Last i checked, air doesnt like to make 90* angles

Well next time I wind up in the tool shed at Nuts's house I will have to examine the rest of it more closely I guess. Specifically the muffler to see if it maintains the 2.5" in and out of it. When he took it off he thought it was original. Maybe the muffler is? Hell if I know.

Geeze man clean up that garage!!!!

LOL I just went from having 3 car garage worth of storage down to 1 car. You shoulda came down, the rest of the TFW left here with a truckload of free stuff. Except Austin, he somehow got the best stuff and didn't have to show up! LOL

Thats how it always works. Audi always seems to get sh*t for dirt cheap. I guess if your mentality is "f*ck it, floor it" people feel sorry for you cause your sh*t is always broke!:p

That Austin is the luckiest guy I know.....

Hey wasn't this thread about an exhaust pipe? Damn, we could screw up a tank with a toothbrush.

I had a phone conversation with air today. He's been a lot more tolerant of sharp bends lately. Something about life being short and the earth not revolving around him, he's really had a change of heart. You should get up to date information before making such a bold statement. That's how lies and rumors get spread on the internet.

There is absolutely no chance of anyone else contributing to this thread. Another TFW thread kill, another job well done.

I'd just sh*t can both those exhausts for a GN1 3" system....oh...wait...i already did that....I blame the booze...and the nipple(s)......
