Going to find a GN in the next few weeks and I want to get it tuned ,so it would be safe to drive down to Ga. Who do you guys suggest? Thanks

I don't have a car yet,but the one i'm looking at is in Richmond Va. Think it is mostly stock. I will be in Trenton, NC.

You should get in touch with BigWood Racing.
That is Shane's company, I am sure they could help you.

Mostly stock can mean a lot of things :D. Anyway, if not heavily modified, these cars can be dependable and trip friendly. Assuming the electronics are in good working order then all you will need to do is a spring cleaning (you can find the directions here… Turbo Regal Web Site) and you should been good to go as far as driving and cruising status. The factory controls do a good job of "tuning" as they are on a stockish car. If you have even minimal wrenching abilities you should be able to handle this level of work. The key is knowledge of what to do. Thanks to this site and others like it, all you need to do is read, read, and read.

If you are talking about maximum performance for a particular set up or if the car has current problems then it can start to get complicated and you will benefit from people that specialize in these cars. That's when the real tuning begins. The first one I think of in the eastern end of the state is Big Wood Racing along with G-body parts.

There is a BEAUTIFUL Highly Modded car in Richmond for sale as well.

10 sec street car tastefully done right.

If interested PM me for info, can be bought for a fraction of the cost to build it.

it don't need to be highly moddified to run 10's, hell the wife low mile car ran 10.90's with a handfull of properly selected bolt on's, some help of NC Turbos (aka) Keith, AND with the a/c on because it was 99*.

There is one in every crowd

It can go deeper than 10s but anybody that runs 8's in a Ponch should know highly optioned means better than 10s.

Get off my ***
