Who would win? Me vs Turbo Buick Wagon

Hey all you turbo buick owners, I have a race coming up against a turbo buick wagon, just wanted to know how much power he is making. He picked on my daily driver droptop mustang a few times so I finally got a hold of him so he can race my not stock car.


My car- 3000lbs with me in it, 390rwhp, last 1/4 run was 11.7@117 since then I've dropped off 200 lbs.

His car - turbo buick WAGON don't know how much it weighs. Guy dropped a GN motor in a bucket wagon. His mods - pt51 smc alky meth kit, he says over 20 lbs boost on 91 octane, 42lb injectors/hotwire kit, caspers electronic chip 3" downpipe with a stock wastegate

this guy's car is a bucket which everything is falling apart on, he said he only has 2 bolts on the torque converter.


Anyways we are going to do a freeway run since he has no slicks and I'm on bald street tires right now. How much do you think the car weighs and how much power is it making? He hit the gas on my other car on the freeway which made it personal and I wasn't too impressed by his car at the time. The last vehicle I beat in a race was a GSX750 Katana sportbike if that gives you any idea how fast my car is. If I lose it's alright, I need bigger injectors, throttle body, mass air, and a custom dyno tuned chip.

With those bling wheels on that hideous wagon, I hope you smoke him. And unless he's holding back information, my money's on the 11.7 stang. One thing's for sure, he aint making any decent hole shots with those ghetto fabulous wheels.

We have a few members on board with wagons. I think one runs 12.3 complete with baby seat. You better not smoke those stang tires at the line or you may lose

My friend Jim built one and its much nicer looking, faster too

Don't underestimate the turbo wagon it might look stupid but all that glass in the back really makes it hook up!

Its hard to say on the race but if you go from a roll I think you will have a advantage. Its really hard to say though TR's are all different. Same mods on different cars wont be identical.

On another note what kind of wheels and how much? (Your car of course)

Thanks for the compliments, it means a lot coming from you GM guys LOL, anyways I've always liked GNs, just a little too expensive for me, because I would want to modify it, but I would want to keep it stock at the same time....so I'd have to buy 2 to be satisfied.


Anyways, this guy doesn't know ANYTHING about my car except it's a 5.7, That's a 347ci stroker for you guys. The guy is a little uhh on the imbreed side, he races ANYBODY, he doesn't care.....that's why a lot of people have beat him and a lot of people have lost to him, that's why I'm asking around a little. He doesn't care about giving away his mods. I know he didn't have them before because his car was a dog on the freeway.


He claims he beat a guy I know on from a stop. This guy has a supercharged 306 - 420rwhp but he only runs a 12.8 @ 110, and his car is about 500lbs heavier than mine. He also claims he turned up the boost since he beat the other guy.

Well, we are doin this on the freeway, so from a stop doesn't matter. His car I know it's a torquey thing but it has an auto. My car has a TKO 5 speed and it's an upper RPM monster. My real powerband kicks in around 2700, pulls at 3000 and really kicks in HARD at 3500-6500, however I'm not tuned so I shift at 6000 right now. We will see what happens on the freeway! When I get my new nittos we can have at it from a stop.

The wheels are CCW 3 piece modular street rims, anodized black with a polished lip. 17x9 in the front with 255/40s and 17x10 in the back with 275/40s. They are VERY light, about 10-15 lbs. They cost about $2,000, so you won't see me getting rid of them anytime soon LOL

Everyone is entitled to an opinion so heres mine, the fact that ur drivin a ford automatically makes me pull for the wagon. It's nothing personal, im sure ur a good guy, just a lil misguided, what the hell am I saying im currently listening to "Radio Ga Ga" by Queen! Now thats misguided ..... Good luck and remember just be safe, dont matter who wins as long as u both can bench race afterwards.

I personally think you'll wax him, but honestly I don't like the thought of him spouting his combo off so much. If you consider that for all you know he could have a stock turbo and injectors or a 70 GTQ and 83 pound injectors. People who make cars like that don't do it to look good, (obviously) they make them to hustle. Look at the reactions here, if he had something fast he'd make a killing. As far as racing goes, I'd do it but just make sure you don't have a ton of money on it. It's not about what you drive, but having fun doin it and giving the other guy hell about what he's driving

first of all wagun8r h8r those 20 inch wheels where on my car when iwas not racing but ask anyone at the oakland/sj/tracy/hayward/fairfield street races, they will tell you that ON SLICKS THE WAGUN8RV6 COMES COMPLETE WITH A WICKED HOLE SHOT.

now as i told you before ,when we raced I DID RUN OUT OF GAS. I DO REMEMBER YOUR CAR. wait a minute on www.norcal1320 .com you said that i raced you 15 second yuckstang ,now its 11second so make a decision which one are we going to race? ask your boy with the BLACK 306 STROKER/SUPERCHARGED /LIQUID INTERCOOLED GT WHAT HAPPENED IN TRACY. and i blew my tranny seal. i have all the videos on cd. in a few days the cd should be uploaded to the internet. ANY WAY IT GOES ILL STILL RACE ANYBODY. FASTER OR SLOWER. TURBOHOLIX/TURBO BOIZ 4 LIFE

see what he says! so did you ask mr 306 what happened? dont get me wrong his car is fast/beautiful but i won, the video never lies . and not to mention i blew the front pump seal from my tranny as we raced.now like i said my trans is still fuked but ill still race you.
now as far as me racing ANYBODY is concerned- that is what i love to do ,not sit@ a computer asking about it . whether i win or lose i refuse to bow down.you talk, i tune.or @ least try, since im an imbreed who races anybody fierlessly and @ the street races religiously!
