Well we have a 2008 GT rated at 300 HP..... and I have had numerous GN's and TTA's....

Stock for stock it would be a very close race.... The GT supposedly ran 5.1 sec to 60 and mid 13's in a Car and Driver article.

The GN feels way faster by the seat of the pants but I would say it would be a pretty dead match.... The GN would have more capability to come from behind though

Now spend $500-$1000 in mods and there isn't even a race to be had :)

Agree with the above (only because he has me a gun point).

My theory is the faster car/better driver will win. Hard to speculate, it's a Ford so there's a good chance for detonation upon ignition. (or use of cruise control)

I feel like im driving a fkn hyundai everytime i get in the 08 mustang now!

it's 300 at the motor, even stock and tuned they dont put anywhere near 300 to the wheels.

no contest.

This would be a VERY close race! It would go to the car/driver that got out of the hole the best. I've seen a STOCK 07 Gt go 1.88-60' to a 13.625et. that was about the best I've seen from the mudstang camp (first hand anyway). Exhaust, tune and this car went 12.88et on a 1.92-60' on stock rubber. But then your talking modded and with a price cap (any number will do) the Buick just starts really walking away. Jon Hanson

Stock tires that came on the GN and on the 09 Mustang will give the mustang the win almost everytime!
