I'm with Bishir, its a damn ripoff what they have the nuts to charge us just to watch. I have no problem paying $10 at my local track, or $20-$35 to run, but BG's out of hand. The turnout gets worse every year, no one seems to do anything after the track closes, and the prices are going up. I've been the last few years, and every time one of the older guys will tell me how great it was back in the 90's. I've been rather disappointed with it so I didn't go this year.

I remember Chuck Leeper gave me his tickets one year the turnout sucked so bad. Maybe if there was more street action at night and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg just to see the damn cars, I'd go.

Yeah, I had a feeling it was getting thin, I have a half hour of video in front of Motel 6, back in 96, one TR after another on the main drag, and Id say close to 1000 TRs and GS at the showgrounds back then, Im thinking it'd be dissappointing to return 10 years later.

I thought it was pretty darn good actually for midweek attendance. Was sad that I had to come back to work before the weekend- wish I could have stayed for Sat races. Had a great 2 days there in the pits with Art Freeman, Chris Lyons, Superdog, etc, etc Everyone was super nice and very generous and friendly, just like the "old" days. Nice to see everyone again, and meet some new peeps too!

It was only $16 to get in ea day...

I "HAD" to go to Vegas for a dealer's convention. Just flew in late last night and boy are my arms tired...........

My 2 cents,

I spoke with Otto & He said that it is a Great turnout. Alot of fast cars there.

Wish I could have gone, But I won't miss Vegas or next years Nats.
