Check out the thread "times and combos with billet turbos" It has the 6262 and alot of other combos.

I have a 6262 billet built by Bison. Will have dyno numbers in few weeks and track times shortly after

The TA cea6262 uses a late casting Garrett stock compressor cover. All else is the same as the cea 6262. I don't have any data on how much the stock compressor cover reduces the compressors efficiency. It definitely effects it to an extent but I dont know where it becomes a limiting factor. There isn't much diffuser left after the cover is recontoured for the 62cea compressor. The ex side is a .63 Precision.

I run that turbo on my car with ported anti surge housing. I made 504 rwhp on 16psi pump gas, timing 16*, 9:1 cr, bv heads, 3.9l engine, locked converter, 210/218 112* .500 comp cam. When I choose this turbo I looked at the 62-1 for comparison. I have no info on the ta cover but would speculate it isnt a restriction until over 600hp.

Probably even more than 600hp. The turbine may even cause backpressure before the compressor housing is a problem. I have personally seem about 78lbs/min with a cea62 compressor.

I have one. But I've yet to make a pass where it ran full boost the length of the track.
