That flashing SES light that you're seeing is the built in "shift light" that's in the Extender :D
BTW, it's adjustable!!

Thanks Dave......just another pretty feature that extender has to offer. Dam i love this chip:D What other chip has a fuel curve that can allow you to run 23# of boost on 100 octane with 0 knock with 22 degrees of timing in it, lock up the freakin converter at either 49mph or 51mph and have launch assist, and anti theft and............. anyway.

thanks

If you are seeing 5200 in the 1/4 at 106 mph, the converter isn't locking at WOT. Make a manual switch per GNttype.org and try that, if only once. Then Report back.

jojo, did you mean that you are shifting into OD at the track before the traps? If so that is killing the mph as well. Some 28" tires and the lock up switch should definatly help that. I'm sure its already been addressed and I just missed it , but keep it on drive through the 1/4. Good luck man.

Tranny/TC slipping? Stock D5?

O2's around 760-780 are good the leaner the better but with the exception of no knock.

9x11 converter shop 2800 stall
The only slippedge im getting is the kind that all automatic trannys get from not locking up my converter. Other than that my tranny shifts tite:D

thanks,

On pump gas with Alky I can trap speeds over 110-111 with rpm's around 4900-5K

On race gas (C-16) I can traps speeds over 116 with rpm's little over 5000-5100.

This is all without locking up the tranny but my stall on my TC is around 3K. Locking up the TC will only gain you about 1-2MPH.

Sounds like allittle more tunning maybe your valve springs needs replacing. What kind of plugs you usings and at what gap?

I just tweaked a couple of things the other day in my update thread. Bumped the fuel pressure up from the rail another two pounds, to bring up to 45-46# line off, i run NGKs at a tight .035 gap...motor doesnt miss a beat :D valve springs are real good. Anyway with this said i ran my car the other night with the above changes on the fuel. From a dead stop on the freeway shifter in drive, blasted my foot down to the floor, while eyeballing my quick update scanmaster, RPMs went to 5200+ at 111mph:D 02s went 781, car pulled like a madman all the way through that run with no knock and 100 octane
