I was at local roundy track yesterday & saw an idiot with a mid 80's monte stock car with GN wheels? I have seen this a few times in the past on other stock cars. WHY?

Most tracks have a stock wheel rule. The biggest 15 inch non-Corvette wheel is a 15 X 7 found on the G-body and B-body. The 15X7 B-body is a 5X5 bolt pattern and wont bolt on to the average metric based frame and suspension. And they have to be steel, not alloy. That leaves the GN,83-85 MCSS,GP 2+2 and the H/O-442. Blame it on GM for building almost 26,000 GNs. Thats almost more than all of the other models combined. Supply and demand.
