For the longest time I noticed that T portion of the trans dipstick is cutting away at the insulator. I am wondering if I have the wrong one or it is positioned wrong to cause this. Does anyone have a pic that would show height of it or some means to tell if I have something wrong.
I know the engine mounts are good since I recently put in a set of HP hard mounts.
Can anyone help me out on this? Thanks

Did you "pinch" it in the fire wall when you did the motor mounts? How long has it been rubbing?

It has been doing this for quite sometime but I don't drive the car much either. The P/N on the dipstick is 25525580, is this the correct one? Can someone measure the total length of the stick so I can check that also?

New mtr mounts. New body mts, too? If not, motor/trans is up, and the body is "down" = interference??:D

I've got new body bushings in my car & the HR Parts motor mounts & tranny mount & have no issues with mine coming anywhere close to rubbing on the hood liner.

I if you've got the wrong one installed. Maybe post a few close up pictures that we can see. Not sure of the part number you've got listed is the correct one or not.

Do you have the correct tube? The T-Handle can only go down to the height of the tube. The tube has a tab that attaches to the bellhousing

Yea and it all bolts up to the trans ok. I would post some pics but I don't know how to put them on here.
