Well somehow Julio thought of that and installed a switch called "On/Off" so you could actually turn off the $5 a gallon expensive methanol injection system and run you 8-15 lbs of boost.... or you could makes adjustments so it doesnt spray untill a certain boost level, and you could control how much alky it sprays at what boost level. Thus increasing the alky as boost increases. But alky does have a few draw backs no one really mentions.
For example. You are able to run more boost (around 18-25lbs) which means you will probly waste more gas too and increase the chance of getting speeding tickets. That sucks!
Also it causes excessive smoke and noise coming from the rear end when accelerating hard. I think it comes from the tires breaking loose all the time but I have yet to prove it.
Another thing (might be related) is the rear tires wear out a whole lot faster than before. Im guessing cause the added weight of the alky system but Im just speculating.
Last, just like drugs, its addicting. The more you hit the gas and the more you want to do it over, and over again. It freakin sucks! Then when you accidently install a BstC Boost controller and run as much boost from the seat of your car as your want, forget about it. Makes you not want to drive the car anymore!
Installing alky, worst decision I ever made!....... did I mention I might be dislexic?....
Dude dont get alky! Let the rest of us have all the fun!
