Why so much oil in Intercooler?

I am taking my motor out of my T to do head gaskets and a rear main seal, i took the intercooler off and laid it on the floor and it left a pretty decent puddle of oil on the floor. Not sure why? Bad turbo maybe? I would appreciate any input, thanks

Yep. Turbo is leaking.

Do you still have the stock breather tube connected to the inlet of the turbo? That can be a source of a lot of oil.

Yes the brether tube is still in place. Should i remove it this time around?

I would remove it, put a filter in it's place in the valve cover and cap the turbo inlet. Then see if you get oil in the intercooler.
