I think sometimes these ratings are made by mistake. I have an " old " rating in another thread that did not make much since to me either so I went back to make sure that I had not accidentally given someone an undeserved rating myself.

I had a post rated for spelling, thought I really butchered the post. But when I checked it not a single spelling error. Figured that maybe they were impressed with my spelling.

Shortly thereafter someone posted in the Lounge that they discovered they had been rating posts accidentally via their mobile app. As they scrolled through a thread from time-to-time they 'hit' a rating icon and poof, post got rated...

Yea i had a moron rate one of my posts so i now i troll his posts and put DUMB or the Rainbow..Only sometimes when i have nothing to do
