Is there a "better than other" place in a down pipe to put the O2 bung for a wide band? Its a 3" external gate pipe. Thanks, Eric.

Ok thank you, by the way what gate are you running? also why not mount the boost controller in the car? Thanks in advance, I ask because I am getting ready to swap to an external gate and may have a few more questions. Eric.
I put mine in the down pipe fits good but removed to do it. Cross over would work
Correct. The crossover will get too hot and also is under pressure which can skew your WBO2 readings.
We usually recommend in the downpipe at least 8 " from turbo. I also recommend that you don't have it in the very bottom (rust, etc.. can lay on it) or very top of the pipe (condensation). In other words, put it between 2:00 and 5:00 or 7:00 and 11:00. I hope I'm making sense

The idea of putting the boost regulator that close to the turbo and under the hood is to cut down lag time and pressurizing of the lines.. This is done to prevent overboost in situations due to time delays in long lines.
Volume of a straw 1foot long as opposed to the volume of a 10foot straw.. P&V have an inverse relationship.
I put my wideband sensor in the 2 o' clock position in the downpipe just before the cutout on the framerail side. Not problems with rust or anything like that. Been working fine since.
