I using a FAST air fuel meter with a single O2 sensor when driving around I'm getting a readings of 13.2-17.2 . What would make it read so lean?

What chip?

Normal idle afr open loop is 12.5-13.5

Closed loop afr 14.5-14.8

Lean cruise afr 15.5-16.5 or even 17.

Do you have a scanmaster?

Rick

So you have a Gen II Translator then? Have you made any adjustments in the Gen II or in the chip?

Do you have a data logger or scanmaster?

I'm using the default settings on my Gen 2 . I don't want to screw up my engine by messing with something I know nothing about. I have a scanmaster also.

the numbers should be higher when cruising, even higher when your foots out of it, and the numbers should drop as you put your foot in it and the boost comes up.ex 14.7 while cruising, 10.5 wot lots of boost, slowing down foot off the throttle 15 to 17 afr.
