We own a 2003 Chrysler Town and Country Limited and love it. We have owned Expeditions, Durangos, Grand Cherokees etc and love the T&C Limited. They are awesome
James,
OK think about it.. the dogs will like the fact you can take or hide the back seat in a mini van.
The baby can stay in the middle seat. If the baby needs attending your wife can slide Thur the front two bucket seats to give baby bottle or pacifier.
As you have more kids you can separate them when they start picking on each other. AND THEY WILL TAUNT each other at any age.
We are on our 2nd Dodge Caravan.. The 1st we outgrew fast.
SIZE DOES MATTER in this case.
You need the grand caravan with extra room in back for baby carriage & items like groceries.
The difference between a smaller mini van & bigger one is the smaller got better mileage, handled better & was peppy.
But like everything there are trade offs. It is not like your wife is going to be racing at every stoplight.
You guys are right, a minivan though ugly and slow, overcomes it's downsides with functionality. We still have plenty of time, but I think what will happen is we'll buy a truck with 4 doors. I had to buy 16 bags of mortor mix yesterday and my wife said, "we need a truck." Of course, I suggested a Supercharged Harley Truck
