Look into running e85 if you have it around your house. Your fuel system will need to be decent to RN it into the 11's and faster.
I run a 3.73 in my silver car. The engine is not stock and likes rpm though. It really helped my heavy car with stock cubes in the 330' and 660'.

Hey Bigblok71, Turbo Tweak chip and 60# or 65#. Reason is that once you start playing with this thing, it is going to start making a lot more power. You dont want to go with the 42's and in a few months run out of injector. Eric can burn the chip for any injector you want. It will run better than it ever has. I promise. Also, the 255lph walbro fuel pump that you will most likley be upgrading to will support the 60#'s just fine. Finally, when you replace your pump, cut the restriction off of the fuel pump hanger directly above the pump. This helps quite a bit in terms of flow volume. Hope this helps

I ran 3.73's with my stock motor up until 11.30's and I loved them! Everyone's set up is different so it's hard to say. You can't go wrong with the alky system though ;)

Start with a minimum of 50lb injectors b/c you can get a TT 6.1 chip. When you get some knowlege under your belt you can get a Powerlogger and WB O2 and use the air/fuel tracking in the chip. It can be turned off until you get the Powerlogger and WB. BTW, you have a Scanmaster right?

I run .373s in mine with a 27.5 inch tire car feals quicker to 100mph but im not sure of the comparison by the end of the 1/4 mile....
