... a nitrous assisted (instant) spoolup ? :D

The nitrous makes the turbo spoolup almost instantly. I'm curious if the alky pump will follow boost quickly enough ???

My biggest concern is activating the nitrous button, boost goes to 27psi, but alky injection lags behind.

I haven't hit the button yet with this combo....

I guess you guys can imagine what I'm planning to do this weekend. :D


I also thought about installing a pressure switch that turns the nitrous off at 15psi... and just use the juice to spool the turbo.

Any thoughts ? :cool:
 
Mine activates at 2300 RPM WOT and shuts off at 10 PSI :D
 
Its a little pricey compared to hobbs switch but NX has a boost referenced progressive controller for nitrous systems. Its programable via laptop and it takes the nitrous out proportionally as the boost rises. Basically you start out at 100% nitrous and as the boost rises the controller takes the nitrous out until you reach max boost and nitrous is completely off. It not only works off the line but anytime you are at WOT and less than max boost. I don't have any plans to try one but I did find the write up to be pretty interesting.
 
i think nitrous to spool is a waste of time and money.
buy the right converter and be done with it.

I put the nitrous on the car for the extra 100hp at the rear wheels.
Until the bottom end is built strong enough to handle the 27psi from the PT67 AND nitrous the full 1320ft, I'm just 'gonna use it to spool the turbo.

I don't need more converter, I need more motor to turn it. :cool:
