when I bought my car it came with an intercooler and this adapter for the intake. My question is can I just reclock the turbo and have the piping made

Wow that's a nice set up with the 86-87 intake. How did you accomplish that more pics and info please as to how you got everything to fit? what mods of any? How much hp did you gain

Let's start by the upgrades, te-60 turbo, 60lbs inj, port and polish heads, 87 ecm, tt chip, powerlogger, stock intercooler, 87 maf, 84 intake cut and fitted with 86 plenum, 86 throttle cut, for turbo to be on the stock location in the rear, custom piping

Its running much better I still need to swap out my injector harness I have a pinched wire on #2 injector.

I got some pics, but just pm what your trying to do and will help you out, was a little hard at first, but it wasn't to bad, actually pretty simple, a little time consuming

The SPEARCO intercooler is rated 1070 cfm, 800hp. You can fab the intercooler piping or you can get a 86 intake and you will not need the adapter. NOTE: adding a intercooler will not fix a bad running car or make it faster either. Adding this intercooler will not make your car fast as a 87. However, if you are wanting to go faster, it will help. Even if you add intercooler, 86 ecm, and intake/TB, you still have a low timing engine (18-20 degrees). Good luck... I would suggest that you get binders and use the SEARCH....
