I just finished installing my Wilwood front brakes. It's a nice kit, with ONE exception. The wheel studes (1/2-20) that came with the kit are only 2" long and with Weld wheels I need 3" long studs So, I spent a day running around town looking for set of 3" 1/2-20 allen bolts that are threaded all the way to the bolt head. The only ones I could find were 40 miles away and are Moroso's. So, after getting the studs and fighting traffic for 4 hours to get them I did get them installed. I had a local hydraulic shop make me some DOT approved -3 hoses (12.5") The hoses are TFE braided -3 with a clear synthetic rubber outer coating. I also spiral wrapped the hoses with .032" stainless safety wire (like a tight spring) and then heat shrunk sleaving over them to prevent rubbing through. anyone else run Wilwood front brakes?
