Tuesday night we had a crap load of rain then Wednesday we had wind gusts of around 60+ mph. Wind blew over another pine and this time it took out our new Chain link fence. It literally landed directly on top of a post and didn't bent it at all but simply drove it straight into the ground 3'...

Thank god for Home owners insurance because they pay $500 for debris removal! :biggrin:

That will buff out.

The rain probably did that pine in more than the wind. Nice soft ground and up it comes. We got enough rain here that the little ditch between my yard and road overflowed the driveway.

should have used more concrete for the hole :biggrin: Well it could be alot worse. We didnt have any damage in Arkansas around my place but it was pretty crazy for a while.

It's amazing that the pole was driven straight down and nothing else was damaged. This winter is gonna be nasty for sure. So far we've been below freezing here more than usual and don't get me started about the rain we've been getting.:frown: We needed it but still.

you guys have winter in texas... come 2 washington for 20 feet of snow in the passes... or do you guys have deep freezes like tacoma??

Granted I've only seen 1 winter below 0 degrees here but the difference is the fact that when there's no humidity and a wind is FREEKING cold, it cuts right through you like a knife. I agree that those of you in the Yankee states may get colder but it just aint the same down here.:tongue:
