window adjustment

so I spent about two hours trying to figure out the window adjustment on my drivers side yesterday, had to move it forward a bit, and get the top right corner tighter, I did read some of Pete's book, and then just started moving a few adjustment bolts little at a time , we got it really good , better than it has ever been ,really happy,
then put all the door panel stuff back on , got it the car for one last check it was near perfect in the seals, then went to roll the window down and it would stick at halfway point , what the hell it was working fine until I put door panels stuff back on????

I tried adjusting mine and made them worse, even with Pete's book, I am going to try and get him to do mine next time i get the car down to Clarks.
