Window sticker "flattening"

I want to frame my window sticker which i took off carefully 20 years ago. It's got numerous small creases and I want to flatten it so I can frame it. Is there a safe way to do that or should I just leave well enough alone. I appreciate any tips. Thanks! Paul

did you try ironing it between two sheets of wax paper
