So I discovered the other day that my washer pump was not working. I checked on here, found all the R&R instructions, and installed a new unit today. So after installing the new pump and reconnecting all the electricals, I tried to test it out before buttoning everything up. Now neither the pump NOR the wipers will work  I pulled the front cover off and didn't see anything broken or out of place... any other ideas?

Well it seems the unit needs to be grounded in the bracket or something to work, when I bolted it all back together everything worked fine.

hello; Tell me how your mounting rubber bushings look? My whole unit rocks back and forth with the wiper action so I'm going to start with the bushing and go from there. In my case when I get this fixed it should help in getting the wipers to sit where suppose to. I hope.

The rubber bushings were fine. Are you certain all three mounting bolts are in place and torqued down?

hello; My wiper pump stopped working and that's why I had the unit out. You can only go to a point with the mounting bolts and there bottomed out. My car is in semi hibernation so it can wait. I havn't looked very hard for the grommets and I hope there still available. I'll figure something out.

i replaced my wiper pump several months ago, and it works but the spray is a tiny dribble. tried cleaning out the lines with air and they appear to be clear.

i wonder if the voltage to the pump is low due to bad connection or ground. wipers work but maybe your gremlin is similar to mine - i'll check it again.

i also need a new driver's side washer hose mount just under the windshield - never ends with these cars!

If I recall correctly the washer fluid hose has a small strainer at the bottom of the reservoir. Maybe it's clogged up?
