Winter storage

Has anyone heard of using fabric softener sheets inside the car and under the hood to keep rodents from making your car their home???? Someone told me to use fabric softener sheets instead of using moth balls in a pie tin..... Along with the usual things for storage fuel stabilizer, remove battery, and placing the car on jack stands.....

I know "Bounce" fabric softner sheets keep bees away. So it sounds like it may work. I use to put pie tins of charcol briquettes under my car to absorb moisture.
