wipers wont stop-please help

I hit the wash and wipe function on the stalk yesterday, and they would not stop, no matter what I did with the stalk. It ran the washer bottle dry. I had to pull the fuse to get it to stop.

Does this sound like a problem in the wiper motor's motherboard, or in the stalk. I am guessing the stalk?

had a similar problem but only with the wipers, it was the control board on the wiper motor.
