Ok, my turn!
Car is a 1989 Turbo TA that has a built tranny (roughly 2000 miles on it), and a 9x11 converter (3800 stall or so).
Everything seems fine and the car shifts nice, from a stop or slow roll it builds boost quickly (it has a T64).
The problem I am having is that from a roll at 50+ if I floor it the car does not seem to downshift and it takes awhile (seems like forever) for it to build boost.
On turbo link it shows 3rd and 4th gear as being on (always)...?
I have adjusted the TV cable with no luck. Sometimes it feels like I am fighting lock up, is it possible that the TCC is bad?
any ideas?
Thanks!
