 Sometimes when I want to run my car hard, It really pulls hard in 1st gear. Just before it gets to the point it is supposed to shift into 2nd it feels like it has touched a rev limiter or something. It feels like the car noses over and loses power, the only way to get it to shift is to let up on the accelerator just a touch and it will shift and then you can get back on it full throttle again. Doesn't do it every time though.

I have pulled the trans pan and checked the governor spring, It is still intact. Just does it when you turn the car really hard.
Thought it might have been spark knock retarding the timing at that point, but turbolink shows no knock. Trans shifts hard under any acceleration on 1-2 and 2-3 shift, except on occasion when rpms are really high. Don't have aftermarket tach and the factory one is not accurate as you know. I would guess it somewhere around 5000-5300. It seems like an electrical or ignition problem but haven't figured it out yet. All the #'s on Turbo Link are within
specs. Any HELP from the experts would be greatly appreciated. I have really learned a lot from reading the forums but haven't seen anyone with a similar problem.

Thanks in advance
