Wont shift to OD unless I let Off a bit

Cant provide much info at this point other than
all shifts are firm at part & wot throttle..
Get 2/1 kickdown in manual second at 15mph

but it wants to stay in 3rd at part throttle unless i let off a bit, then drops right into OD

My 200 does my friends 200 did it, it just a poor tranny, i think it was gm's 1st tranny with rear drive with OD luck up?

Sounds like your TV cable is out of adjustment. If you loosen the cable by a notch or two, your shift should be fine. Push the button on the cable and slide toward the throttle linkage one notch.

Hope your right. I was afraid it might be something internal..
Right now i have it loose by one notch..ill give it a try with one more notch

I'll agree with firechicken on that one. Sounds like a classic symptom. I bet you rev high as hell in your gears too.
