Update - We are up and running

Finally had some spare time today to finish the plumbing. Ended up using pushloc hose with black fittings. Everything worked out perfectly. Added a couple of quarts of oil to the motor and started things up.

Oil is now stored in the accusump when the car is shut down. Really weird to turn the key to run position and see oil pressure on the gauge.:) So finally have a preluber and some insurance of oil pressure if there is some sort of mechanical failure.

I plumbed a tee fitting for the accusump line into the return line to the oil filter adapter. Also included a check valve so no oil is backfed into the cooler when the accusump comes on. Will come up with a price for a full and partial kit that will bolt right in with only some minor work.

Might even offer it with the option of the lines already assembled.

loooks good. how much pressure you get when you turn the key to on.

All depends on how much pressure you have when you shut off the motor. Since our Buicks don't have much pressure at idle, I am using the toggle switch to shut off the valve while the pressure is higher during normal driving, then once the car is off I turn the switch back on so it will automatically prelube when I go to start the car the next time.

Now on the site. ACCUSUMP PRE-OILER KITS Not cheap but what is these days. I am not making a killing on these that's for sure. $360 for a partial kit, $590 for a complete kit with all hoses, fittings, adapters, check valve. $50 option of having all hoses assembled.

BTW, the push loc fittings I use have a nice cover that goes over the connection. The other ones out there just look like you forgot something when making the connection. Was nice not getting stabbed by the braided line when assembling them. Don't miss working with that stuff.:D

This setup is working great and real happy with the results. Now if I could just figure out how to do a setup for front mounts.

One thing this setup has over the other ones out there sold with electric motors is the ease of setting it up and the wiring is only a ground connection and an ignition powered connection.
