i dont think so

that car will never sell for that much i think someone is having some bidder fun . wait you will see it relisted two or three more times before it sells for around 15-16 tho if its even real and not a mileage rollover . you know coming from the bullchit capital of the world .. crooklyn

Exactly. Now, don't get me wrong....that car looks NICE!! and at a reasonable price I don't think that title would make a difference.....but over 20k and reserve still not met??

he says he has no problem keeping it. I guess he will be keeping it then. its funny how some people think that because u chaged out the cluster and put a low mile one in there the car is suddenly worth a small fortune. lol a sucker is born every minute so u never know.

just cause its a 21k doesnt mean chit. have a couple buddys make a few bids. like no one has done that b4:rolleyes:

What are you guys smoking? That is not a nice car as far as I am concerned, nor does it appear to be a low mileage car. Did anybody bother to look at the pics of the motor compartment? Look at the paint worn off of the air conditioning condenser? That's from the hood pad wear, that does not look like that on a 7K mile car. Look at the radiator overflow. Looks like the radiator has upchucked a time or two. Look at the windshield washer reservoir and the brake reservoir. That looks like a theft recovery (which would explain the salvage title) in which somebody has replaced all of the interior panels, seat covers, & steering wheel. Look at the difference between the nice new driver side door panel and the inside of the drivers door metal. What are you guys thinking?

What do u mean? Were laughing at it not praising it. Which is why I stated anyone could swap out a cluster for a lower mile one.

I'm thinking I should look at the pics again on my computer and not just my ipod then! lol Yeah..said it looked nice...not real nice! lol

Brett: i've never sold on ebay and never thought of having buddies up the bid!! Probably right.

I know that you were tongue in cheek, Brent, but I don't know about some of the others.

Sorry BUT unless I was using it as a DD/Beater a SALVAGE TITLE is goin to hurt it a LOT.

Really? Cause just a few weeks ago there was a discussion here about the impacts of a salvage title and the general agreement was that as long as the work was done right it should have a minimual effect on an older vehicle.....

Wonder if the owner of this car is a member here?

well go BUY the car and keep it a while till the market comes back an sell it for $40k with no problems :p

lol!! are you kidding? When the market turns that car will be EASILY be worth NORTH of 50K!!! :)

This GN is one out of a local collection that was damaged in Scottsdale last year, and that would be actual miles. :)

The car suffered minor roof damage which was probably replaced as mentioned.

As far as the under hood "issues", they are normal for a 25 year old car even with only 7k miles.

The hood also was repainted as it was stored under a lift, and had stains from a car above it.

It was purchased at Barrett a few years ago, at was the highest price GN sold at that time. I think is was ~$ 37K.

It was at the Russo action last year as the owner had recently purchased a GNX and had another GN, as well as he owns about 25 other collector cars, way more expensive than either of them.

Other than a salvage title which KILLS the value, and can never be sold at most collector auctions, it is a very nice car

It is not very warm here today, only 69 deg, but we will see 70's the rest of the week so we can then go have fun at the track over the weekend.
