The G2 does need to be soldered to the ECM. Desolder the current socket and solder in the G2. It is actually pretty straight forward. Use a good soldering iron and med to small tip. A good solder sucker or desolder braid but the sucker will work better.
I have 2 ecms, one has a .45 the other a .60. Dont ask me why but the refurbed I got from the yard had the larger spacing, might have come from one of the V6 Front drive cars. Same ECM but uses a different leg spacing. At least that is my theory.
I would love to see your BIN's. Boy does that sound bad. I have a couple for 42lbs that are street and race. You are welcome to them if you like.
