Would this work ok?

I recently picked a non BRF 200R4 trans, I am getting a stk. D5, and was wondering if I changed govener, and servo, and did an Art Carr shift improver would it work ok (as good as the BRF vavle body)? Has anyone already tried this? Disappointed in the shift? And if so where can I get the right valvebody for reasonable $ ??

The transmission wont work with a regular valve body and a BRF governor. You will not have any WOT shifts (at least not below the rev limiter. )

Contact Bruce to see if he still has some BRF valve bodies for sale. If not, a TCI 382200 valve body can fix you up as well.
