I'm lucky that I get to put 2 of my Grandkids on the bus every morning . They are in 1st & 2nd grade and I'm with them alone for about 1 1/2 hours before the bus comes . Every morning I go over math with them and how they need to know their multiplication tables . I probably teach them more in that 1 hour than they get all day at school !! They are smart little kids and are catching on pretty fast . Also when we go sit in the car for 10 minutes waiting for the bus they put the radio on Classic Rock ...they love AC/DC , thanks to Grand Pa !!
