Well I found out I had a busted rocker and began browsing my options. I thought NOS Rockers or shafts, parts store replacement rockers, used shafts, or roller rockers just going over my options. Then I came across this "diamond in the rough!" :-D

Champion GN1 14 bolt Aluminum cylinder heads, machined with receiver groves for loc wire gaskets, Completely ported, polished, and gasket matched to Felpro 1200 and 1400 gaskets by Champion with matching lower ported intake. In addition it came with 5/16 heavy wall push rods, Accufab upper plenum, and RJC power plate.

Prior to selling he took the heads off his motor and had them checked, jet washed, lap valves, new stem seals, set spring pressures. They have Isky gold stripe tool room 1.550 double springs with dampeners 295lb closed/580 open @ 600 lift, titanium retainers, 10 degree locks, 1.60 stainless exh valves, 1.90 stainless intake valves, and topped off with scorpion 1.65 ratio 7/16 stud mounted rockers.

The combo came off of his aluminum TA 3800 block. With the above combo he ran a best of 9.33 at 143 while running 22lbs of boost on a T70 turbo. He is going with a different heads and intake combo.

Everything out the door $965! :-D

Thanks guys! So here is what happened. How? Not a clue.... Think this is the reason why it was running like crap LOL! Also some more pics and the flow sheet that goes along with my newly aquired combo. The two engine pics are of the 9.33 motor they came off of.

What the hell.....so the pushrod punched a hole through the rocker arm? is that common?

The parts once worth there weight in gold are now closer to scrap iron. Incredible deal. Hope there is not some hidden option. ;)

That's the first time I've seen a push rod come through the rocker like that.

I've never saw it and my buddy is a gm master tech and said he has never saw that either. I know that's going to be a picture in the scrap book LOL

I've seen pushrods through rocker arms before, but the cause was inadequate clearance between the spring retainers and valve guides, due to using 10* locks/keepers with 7* retainers. The kids who put it together didn't realize that the spring retainers were sitting lower on the valve due to the locks being the wrong angle, fired the car up, and blew half the pushrods through the rocker arms.

That was one heck of a diagnostic process, b/c it was mostly apart before I got there to check it out, and there was carnage everywhere. It did some good damage to the cam, too.

Man great deal! Now if I could only come across that... I just posted up about my rocker arm doing a very similar thing!
