Wrong MSD wires, Cause of stumble probs???

hi gang we gota thread going on the off idle stumble and hesitation

here is something silly we may have overlooked,may not be an issue????

he ordered msd wires and they gave him wires for a chevy v6 with the hei cap style boots

we assumed no biggy and used them, is it possible different type of wire for different style ignition???? or dif type of boot for the coil side compared to a dist cap???

struck me funny he touched a plug wire boot on the coil while running(plugged in), and got a zap..

that shouldnt have happened if the plug wire was plugged in correctly right?????

shouldnt matter ..

make sure the terminals are clean to make good contact with the wire terminals and use some deelectrical greese in the boots.

electricity will naturally take the shortest route and in that case it was his finger..
