These are readily available at salvage yards as they were used on many GM cars.

I have one, remanned, tested and working for $80 to your door.

Is this what is known as an "LS1" MAF? Are they on more vehicles than just LS F Bodies?
Yes and I don't know. If you call a salvage yard and tell them you have a 2000 Camaro they will be able to tell you if they have one. It won't necessarily be from a Camaro, but their computer will no all cross references. If they had one on the shelf and didn't know it,you could easily identify it visually. If it is the bigger twin brother of the aluminum 3" LT1,it will work as they are all the same. Just measure the openings. If they have one that doesn't function properly,no problem. The important parts to find are the two aluminum end pieces. The middle piece,a plastic sensor,is still available in the aftermarket and it all comes apart by removing four screws.

Excellent, thanks for the info! Do any of these vendors sell the plastic sensor pieces?
