We put in a new headliner ourselves and took the sun visors to local trim guy to have them recovered. He is having difficulty getting the arm that has 3 screws in it that attaches through the headliner to the top of the car fully back into the sun visor so the hard, plastic sleeve can go in far enough to put the screw back in. He has tried to force it but it will not go in the additional inch or so that is needed as it was prior to removal. Anyone have any suggestion how to get this male part far enough into the sun visor material/section across the top to get the hard plastic sleeve in the proper place? He has been struggling with this for days. He showed me the issue but I am not sure what the magic trick is to get this seated back in far enough as it was prior to removal so the visor will work properly. See the attached pics for reference.
