Yes TTA. I was wondering why mine had like a "double pan cake" type of connector.

So that "weird flang" thing comes off the old cat and I put it on the new cat and connect to my stock exhuast? My cat. is still connected to my exhuast in its entirety.

Can I use any cat (like from a grand national or aftermarket) or do I need a TTA specific one?

Thanks,

Rob

I have a catco high flow convertrt with less than 200 miles on it..

for stock exhaust and dp

i think i have a good stock one also a stock downpipe with almost new aftermarket converter on it-will sell cheap- where are you located?

Smash the guts out of the one you have
and get an emissions chip

Emissions chip wont do crap if you gut it. The car will still likely fail on CO2 and HC. A good functioning factory cat is about the only way you will pass in CT unless you have a nearly stock cam and add a high % of alcohol to the tank. You will still probably fail on HC even if you did that. Been there done that
